It was a sad, sad, day for two of the hardest working members of the family today. Two of our rubber spatulas were involved in horrible accidents! The blue Mario Batali spatula had a run-in with the food processor - and lost. The blue Pyrex spatula succumbed to my oldest daughter's vice-like grip in the battle of the chocolate chip cookie dough. Sadly, he lost as well. Both members will be sorely missed in the days and weeks to come. Oh, how will we ever live without them?!?
