The spring band concert was held last night at the high school. It didn't start until 8 pm - way too late in my book! They do it to accommodate spring sports...Anyway - here is my son getting all ready to play, my oldest daughter playing, and also posing with her friend right after the performance.
My daughter has a medal around her neck received by getting all-star pins all four of her middle school years. She also got the Director's award last year (only one given per grade) which you can only earn once. Pretty cool stuff!
At any rate, the kids did a fantastic job, and their band instructor is absolutely amazing! We sure have some talented kids!
