Waterfall Card

Well, here's what I've been up to this afternoon. Figured I might as well post it since I couldn't think of anything else! If any one's interested, here are the dimensions of what you'd need to make it!

Base card 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Card mat 4" x 5-1/2" n

  • narrow strip toward the bottom 1" x 4"

  • square for stamped image 1-1/4" square

  • first mat for stamped image 1-3/4" square

  • second mat for stamped image 2"

  • pull tab base 2" x 9" scored at 2", 2-3/4", 3-1/2" & 4-1/4"

  • pull tab grasp 1-1/4" circle folded in half

  • ribbon 4"

  • brads 2

To assemble:

  • Stamp desired image on four 1-1/4" squares. Mount square onto 1-3/4" squares, and then on 2" squares.

  • Glue card mat to the front of card.

  • Fold pull tab base at scores.

  • Fold circle in half and using glue, attach it to the longer side of the pull tab base.

  • Using folded pull tab base as a guide, determine desired location for narrow strip to be attached. Mark location and pierce holes to attach brads. Do not use any glue.

  • Put glue on just the very end of the shorter side of pull tab base and adhere it to the narrow strip.

  • Place glue on the tops only of the four squares and glue them to the pull tab base at the score lines.

  • Using a 1/16" hole punch make a hole in the center of the pull tab.

  • Attach ribbon to pull tab by pulling through hole and looping back on itself.

Enjoy your fun waterfall card!
